Just had the centre and rear box replaced on my Omega, turns out it's the same exhaust as the 2.5dti!!

Whilst up on the ramp, I took the opportunity to chect the CAT....D'oh! the shield was corroded and was peeling away, exposing something that resembles cotton wool!! I guess this means a new CAT?

Can anyone help in advising:
1. Is the CAT the same as the 2.5dti model?
2. Anyone know of any good and value for money on-line sites I can get a CAT from?

Had the centre and rear sections done on mine and then went for MOT - the tester/garage owner gave me an "informer" that my front box was corroded - I went back to ATS who had done the exhaust and they told me it was the heat shield on the CAT. They told me there is a heat shield on the top which wasn't corroded and unless I wanted to spend money on a new Cat it was still safe to drive - 6000 miles later there haven't been any problems.
