I recently bought a '08 Zafira 1.8 (Z18XER) for my wife and I keep getting an occasional light on the dashboard (yellow light for low oil level).
It comes on after a few miles, and not all the times. There are no faults picked by the ODBII reader. The previous owner had the oil level sensor replaced before I bought it (got the receipt), but this didn't cure it. The car had been serviced two weeks before I bought it and has approx. 85k miles.
His mechanic suggested replacing the oil pressure switch, but I'm not sure that's the reason.
Has anybody had a similar experience?
