I recently noticed a small amount of smoke from the passenger side of the engine, pulled over, and got it towed to the local dealership. They've taken a look and found it has 4 oil leaks coming from the rocker cover gasket, rear main seal, sump oil and oil filter.
They've quoted £1400 to fix the leaks and change the clutch (in case of contamination). It had a full service and MOT at the same dealership only a few weeks before. They did report that there appeared to be an oil leak but didn't investigate it further at the time.
My mechanical knowledge is extremely basic so I'd like to know if anyone has any suggestions. The car is only worth £2000 (afaik) so repairing it at that cost is pointless.
It's an Astra H 1.6 Turbo SRi Estate, 96,000 miles. And I like driving it!
