Hi.
On my first Vauxhall Insignia and looking to change the oil filter. Problem is it's not where I expected!
Was looking to the right if the oil cap and a few inches down.
2013 2ltr Ecotec
Help finding it would be appreciated

Best accessed through the drivers wheel arch, real pain in the ass to get to and you will make a mess when the oil inside the housing runs all over the driveshaft when you pull the old filter out....unless your prepared. lol..

There is a “special tool” for catching the oil. I use a piece of cardboard to direct it towards the center away from the driveshaft and suspension arm. The earlier 2.0s had a drain off pipe but you need to turn the filter cap to a certain point to get the hole inside to lign up. They got rid of it in the later (2012ish) engines
