Hello. My Corsa tells me to add engine oil and the red engine oil indicator has come on. I should add the indicator has magically disappeared when I restarted the car. Even though, it did ask me to add oil. A little strange. I checked both coolant and oil levels and they look fine. The oil is a little low but within band, so I thought I should top it up ahead of service in November and check it out at Vauxhall garage on Monday/Tuesday.
In my service handbook, it looks like 0W-20 oil has been used for services. When I put my car reg into Halfords, they recommend 0W-30. What should I go with? Thinking of Castrol Edge.
I couldn't see Corsa F as an option for the Prefix.
