Hi all , rushing to get to work this eve, go in Veccy, turned key, starter motor turning , occasional attempt to fire up, not nothing serious and thats about it. Yes there is petrol in it.

Gonna have to look at it in the morning due to getting dark, was hoping you guys could give some places to start looking.

My own thoughts are dis pack, leads, fuel line / filter, air intake.

Any information gratefully received, thanks in advance

Was the ecu light flashing?

= immobiliser related problem if so.

Is it parked on a slope ?

The only time mine wouldn't start was when I parked it on the driveway with the drivers side lower than the passengers side and the front lower than the rear.

It had 1/4 tank of fuel in as well.

Dave would the starter motor engage if it was immobiliser was interfering.

Not on a massive slope , about 1/4 tank will chuck a jerry can full in just incase.

I can't remember what the immobiliser actually disables. But if it is an immobiliser fault then the ecu light will flash. I did ask earlier, but you didn't give an answer whether it was or not.
