Hi

Can anyone recommend some OBD software and an interface that work OK with an Omega-B..?

Ideally, I'd like it in English - not German/Hungarian.

AND

I'd like it to acually work as opposed the rubbish from the US that really doesn't

Anyone got any suggestions..?

Thanks

Jon

p.s Aren't Omega-B really great cars for not-a-lot of money...????!!

Looked at the web page - looks like a good product but 'ouch' at the price!
But as I understand a code read at a garage is something like £50, it only amounts to ten reads. And a fault condition might require more than one read. And not forgetting that afterwards one can replace the possible offending part somewhat cheaper.

For example, I understand that £200 is the average price at a garage for replacing an EGR valve. And a brand new valve is 'only' £74 from Vauxhall's! That's £126 saved.

Has anyone tried UKOBD? I got a cracking package for my 2003 MG from these guys. Gives all the usual sensor readouts and does some nifty loggong and quarter mile run times including a 0-60 timer. Very impressed. Tell you all what, if you can tell me where the OBD2 socket on a 1996 omega is then I will see if it works.
