Hello guys, experienced an issue when I was driving around 50 mph on a slip road and then pushed the throttle firmly to get more speed to join a motorway. I pushed the throttle all the way to the floor.
I suddenly heard a rapid clicking noise from the engine bay driver side, and it carried on for a few seconds. I then saw a huge gust of white smoke in my rear view mirror and the issue stopped and the car seemed to drive fine after.
Just need to know if I have any bigger issue going on with the vehicle and what might have caused that.
Could a regen cause the clicking noise from the engine bay or would something else have caused this?
Its a Zafira B Automatic 1.9 diesel
