hello
I'm new here. I've had my 05 Astra Life a few weeks. I've had it valeted, fitted new headlights and colour coded handles. I'm looking at getting opcom to enable auto locking and for fitting cruise control so reading the forum has been great!

so my question. my astra has the auto gearbox which I wanted after recently having my hip replaced. its my 1st auto box and I love it, but after reading here I realise the common problem with it - something to do with seals failing in the radiator causing coolant to get into the gearbox knackering it! not the best thing I could have read...
so, should I eliminate the potential disaster by having the radiator replaced before it fails? cars done 58k

cheers

Prevention is always better than cure. Just make sure you get a good brand. Some of the aftermarket radiators can last less time than the one you'd be taking off!
