I have a 2.3td (M reg) fronty.... Think i have injector probs as i can start it up but no power and won't even move under own power. Could this be injectors or head gasket?

Anyone else had this Sort of problem?

All input welcome and ANY help Gratefully recieved

nore likely to be air or fuel related.

change fuel filter located on engine if you do not know when it was changed last

you have to prime system when you change filter by pumping the pump on top of fuel filter

check out all air pipes from air filter and change that as well , you shoulld find a pipe either perished or loose

the injectors only need usually some forte diesel treatment in tank unless someone has used cooking oil to run it

also get underneasth and look for any leaking fuel pipes

Partner thinks she may have mis fuelled :Arrgh:
Tried to run it and open injector pipes, only one causes it to stall, the rest make no difference....
If i drain and use new diesel (change filter etc) What the chances of there being no more probs?

What else do i need to check or do?

tried it with new fuel runs but sounds like it's only running on 2 cylinders (1 &2) 3 & 4 not working or bad miss. Could this be the head leaking across the 2 cylinders? Anything else it could be? Was fine before mis-fuelling now this..

clean injectors have them re set at a diesel specialist

never heard of leak across on a 2.3 if its running better check leak off pipes are not damaged by contamination
