Hi,

I've got a fuel leak, been told by the garage that I need to fit a new Fuel Sender Unit. I've managed to locate one easily enough but the parts supplier have asked me if I need the unit with the pump built in or the unit with no pump. I've got a 1994M Calibra 8 valve.
Anybody able to shed some light on this?

Cheers

Stu.

i've never heard of a fuel pump with a sender built-in personally.

my cav 8-valve has a separate sender mounted in the front of the tank, whereas the pump is near the offside rear wheel.
have you tried vauxhall? i dont know what they'd charge for a fuel sender but at least with your VIN number they can get you the exact part you need.
