Just looking at my site and updating on a couple of cars i hae owned since nov 2005 and i realised that i have infact, had a few too many cars (although not as many as some people on here)
"from my site"

"Just curious really as to what makes you all come to the griffin. My list of cars for the 5 years i have been driving:
1) renault 25 2.5 gtx (f reg, £250)
2) vauxhall astra 1.7d estate (j plate, £1000)
3) bmw 316 on webers
4) mondeo estate (2.0 s reg, £3650)
5) gilera moped reg unknown)
6) ford fiesta (old s reg, £50)
7) ford mondeo estate 1.8 (L reg, £250)
8) ford mondeo 2L (facelift p reg, £700)
9) cavalier gsi 2000 4wd (h reg poss, had private plate, swapped for above)
10) ford xr3i cabriolet (f reg swapped for above)
11) cavalier 2.5 v6 gsi conversion (k reg, swapped with above plus £400)
12) vauxhall calibra (j reg, swapped for above when cav gearbox went)
13) omega ex police 3L v6 (m reg, £650)
14) cav gsi (k reg, swapped with above)
15) omega swapped back with above
16) cav sri redtop (k reg, swapped with above)
17) cav 2.5 v6 (m reg, £600)
as you can see, my road to vauxhall'ism, has been checkered with a few diversions on route. Best 'non vox' cars on that list would have to be the mondeo's basically due to their reliability. It does appear that i have had a few cars but i have been in search of the best car for me. All of these have something that i wanted from a vehicle with the cav v6 (current one) being the best one out of the lot in the looks, performance, reliability etc etc. so happy with her i dont think i shall be changing very soon (unless someone wants to give me a cav gsi 4wd in immaculate condition but hey, i live in hope lol!!!)
Update,
18) omega 2.5 cd (r reg)
19) omega mv6 (my old one)
20) celica 2L 16v (h or j reg)
21) omega elite (n reg iirc)
22) calibra redtop (again, my old one, j reg)
23) omega 2.5 cd (L reg)
24) vectra 2.5 v6 sri (current one, hoping to keep this baby p reg)"
When i look at it this way, i do seem a bit stupid to have had 7 cars in less than 4 months!

Well, i think that my cav 4x4 was my top one, then the current vectra and finally the mv6. Saying that though, the mondeos were good cars as well (i dont care what epople say about fords, i have never been an elitist) and the bmw was in a class of its own tbh. I got it from my brother who is in the royal engineers and bought it back from germany after playing with it a bit for the sum total of £250. I put 2 wings on the front and sold her for £750 iirc!

Used to have a late Sapphire GLS, think it was around 125 brake... I know Mondeos are more, mid 130's? Good car those GLS's, has some better stuff than my Cavalier

ah but steve, yours is from 1995 iirc aint it lol!!
@ scotty0409 I tell you what, i would rather have a 2L mondeo for pulling a caravan over a 2L cavalier anyday! And the boot space in an estate mondeo is massive.

I know, the mondeo is a good motor when it works! Had 4 F*rds from new and they have all been badly made, unreliable, noisy, and the electrics seem like I wired them!

Only one i had a problem with was the L reg one. Came with a fooked front suspension set up (springs and shocks were not even for a mondeo) so that cost me about £200 to sort out but still a bargain for £250 lol!!
