What are probable causes when my MV6 won't start?

I can smell fuel in the exhaust after repeated attempts to start it.
There isn't even a hint of ignition.
The starter turns just as normal.

I've tried start-gas in the air-intake, still no change.

I think the above rules out fuel problems, but rather no spark.

I've read that the crank-shaft sensor can be the cause of this, but where is it located??

Any other ideas?

The crankspeed sensor also controls fuel injection so if you are getting fuel its probably not that at fault.
but its next to the oil filter - plugs into the loom at the rear of the engine by the DIS pack 3 pin plug.

There are two fuel pump relays - check them both as one suppliers power to the ecu.
