Hi all, strange one today, I've just removed the box from my Merv B and the bolt going through the centre bore of the front mount is a good 6mm smaller than the hole. Surely this would allow a whole lot of movement before the rubber would even start doing its job?

Anyone seen this before or do i have friday afternooner?

Also, any recommendations on where to get a front exhaust cheap? Online options seem limited?

Cheers

Perhaps there is supposed to be a ferrule around the bolt, that has somehow been left out or gone missing?

Thank you for the replies guys, as it didn't look at all damaged/worn (bolt and bore) I decided to put it back as is. Happy to report no probs with vibration so far. Car is all back together with replacement box, injectors and clutch. Saved from the scrappers, smooth as silk and quiet. Only one niggle that I'll put on a new thread....... steering rack rattle 😬
