Hi again, I am doing nothing but posting on here for advice at the moment, been finding marks over my driveway, looks like brake/clutch fluid checked the brake reservoir and found it to be empty.. I have recently had my clutch and flywheel done not sure if this is linked, it is not the brakes and seems to be coming from the clutch area, what are the odds this is the slave cylinder? should this be changed on a clutch change or is this separate?

These do have a slave cylinder in the bell housing of the gearbox, a decent kit would come as a 3 piece kit.

99.9 % of suppliers will not sell a kit without the slave cylinder.

If you suspect it’s coming from the slave cylinder then best make enquires

i dont think its standard, otherwise the clutch, pressure plate and slave cylinder would be sold as a kit.

There are clutch kits with and with out slave cylinders, logic dictates that the slave is changed if it too is concealed within the bell housing, Standard procedure.

Garage has the car again now, looks like they think it is the Slave Cylinder which they did replace so looks like its covered under warranty. - Thanks to all the helpful comments.

if the car is still driveable its not that likely to be the slave , maybe the top seal where the flexi connects at the bellhousing .
if this is leaking it usually goes down through the bellhousing and out the bottom .

It was the slave, replaced by garage under warranty .. perfect again.. for now!
