hello peeps, have a problem with my mk2 astra, have recently noticed water coming from around the oil sump. Have checked all the pipes and there is no rusty water and they are dry.Still have water returning to overflow but on a long journey the bottle emptied.Any ideas.:coke:

hmm, try this first, fill the expansion tank up with water, and start the car with the cap off the expansion tank, rev the car and look for bubbles in the tank! if the water goes daftthen its a sure sign of a head gasket. the water might not be going into the oil of course it may be going into the bores - does the car misfire from cold, or is it bad to start?
