Hi Guys.

Today on my way to work I had a wing mirror collision with a 2017 Vauxhall insignia Grand sport driver.

Anyway, it was tight and i made the decision to try and squeeze past (obviously didn't work) so of course I am happy to pay as i was in the wrong. However, the fella has told me he has got a quote for £220 for the mirror repair, which has now got broken housing and a broken cover.

It is a fleet car so it has to be repaired by an approved Vauxhall repair shop. Is this the normal price for this sort of repair!?

Thanks for any help.

I'd say thats about the price you'd have to pay. The broken housing and cover, the glass and painting for colour coding.
