Hello.
Need to replace my air con condenser.
Has anyone done one?
It's a 2011 2.0CDTi 160.
Thanks.

Don't think there's any quick way from memory, front bumper removed and the whole lot (a/c condenser, radiator and intercooler) off as one complete assembly - so would mean coolant drain etc..the condenser is held on with clips to the others. A rebuild and then of course a regas with someone a/c f-gas registered.

Never done one but took plenty front bumpers off. Open the bonnet and the clips or screws along the top of the grill will be easy enough to spot. 2 or 3 screws in each wheel arch easily accessible by thrning the steering each way. There's also couple either side at the bottom for the plastic trims. Finally underneath, there's a female torx bolt which needs to be loosened (not removed) on each side. Can be quite tricky to spot at first. Then it's just a case of tugging gently at each corner to release the clips at the wings.

It is expected to rain tomorrow in South Wales so it will give me something to do.
