Hi. I have been noticing for a while that my insignia seems to sometimes hold back, almost like a misfire in low gears/ revs - but it does really pull its weight at higher revs in the gear range. I have acquired a scan tool and took some readings, i am still researching what they mean but here are a capture:
DTC_CNT 0
FUELSYSA CL
FUELSYSB --
LOAD_PCT 24.3 %
ECT 159.80 °F
SHRTFT1 1.6 %
LONGFT1 -7.8 %
MAP 8.27 inHg
RPM 790.00 rpm
VSS 0.00 mph
SPARKADV 8.0 °
IAT 98.60 °F
MAF 0.01 lb/s
TP 18.0 %
O2SLOC B1S12--B2S----
O2S11 0.160 V
SHRTFT11 -2.3 %
O2S12 1.275 V
SHRTFT12 99.2 %
OBDSUP EOBD
RUNTM 337 sec
MIL_DIST 0.00 miles
CLR_DIST 26287.73 miles
BARO 29.53 inHg
CATEMP11 953.60 °F
VPWR 14.366 V
LOAD_ABS 18.4 %
LAMBDA 0.999
P_R 4.7 %
AAT 75.20 °F
TP_B 17.3 %
APP_D 20.0 %
APP_E 10.2 %
TAC_PCT 6.7 %
EVAP_PCT 11.4 %
FLI 71.8 %

My main concern at the moment is the negative long term fuel trim, as i know this can cause performance issues and not be good for the engine. But i don't really understand the rest of the data. Is there anything in this data that could indicate something that is contributing the negative fuel trim? Does the data look okay?

Just to mention, the car has 30,000 miles on the clock so pretty low really.

Thank you

Just to add to the above, it seems that the Load_PCT is high at idle, as high as 30% and the long term fuel trim is as high as -10. But if i touch the accelerator and put a small amount of revs in the Load PCT actually drops to about 14%, so theres less load with a few revs than at total idle. Also, as soon as i start driving the negative long term fuel trim pulls round and goes much closer to 0. So it seems whilst driving there's no issue but when idle theres more load, running richer, throttle position reading a little high etc...

This is the data with putting a slight bit of revs in whilst sat, was also after a small drive round the block which has changed the long term fuel trim figure a lot:

DTC_CNT 0
FUELSYSA CL
FUELSYSB --
LOAD_PCT 14.9 %
ECT 167.00 °F
SHRTFT1 0.0 %
LONGFT1 1.6 %
MAP 6.50 inHg
RPM 1459.00 rpm
VSS 24.23 mph
SPARKADV 2.5 °
IAT 87.80 °F
MAF 0.01 lb/s
TP 18.4 %
O2SLOC B1S12--B2S----
O2S11 0.070 V
SHRTFT11 8.6 %
O2S12 1.275 V
SHRTFT12 99.2 %
OBDSUP EOBD
RUNTM 313 sec
MIL_DIST 0.00 miles
EVAP_PCT 9.4 %
FLI 63.5 %
WARM_UPS 255
CLR_DIST 26287.73 miles
BARO 29.83 inHg
CATEMP11 1380.20 °F
VPWR 14.187 V
LOAD_ABS 25.9 %
LAMBDA 0.999
TP_R 5.9 %
AAT 86.00 °F
TP_B 18.0 %
APP_D 20.0 %
APP_E 10.2 %
TAC_PCT 6.7 %

Any help on this is much appreciated. Im wondering if theres a very slight vacuum leak... or could it all be down to the high Throttle position reading at idle? But wouldnt that bring the RPM up?

Thank you

Hi, just wanted to see if you got anywhere with this issue.
i changed swpped an engine out and have the same issue,
also kept having a p0101 popping up in pending.
thanks
