Im off to look at a car tonight, its not running as the seller claims they put a new battery on and put the wires on the wrong way:eh . They claim the immobilisser is now preventing it from starting:rolleyes: . Is this feasible. Its a 2.0 lM reg 16v LS. Was running before battery fitted. Any feedback before i view would be appriciated.:Cool2:

Probably fried the whole ECU by wiring it up incorrectly.

If an immobiliser fault, then the ECU light would flash when the key is turned.

:lmao: Electrics were dead to the key, no hazards or interior light, suspect its the thermal fuse in the main live.

No continuity from live batt clamp to starter main.

Advised seller to get it sorted as he will struggle selling it as a non-runner at the price he wanted...£500:lmao:
