Dare I say it, Im missing it and want to drive it!! :O

The last time I drove it was the 3rd of March back from work.
Saturday morning I started cleaning it ready for Wednesdays TV shoot, so didnt drive it inbetween so it didnt get dirty again.
Shoot was cancelled due to crap weather, and rescheduled for next Tuesday or Wednesday, so another 3 or 4 days to go :eh

I have to say though, Ive been enjoying it ALOT more since the brakes were done, and the more I think about it the more I want to keep it.

Fcuk, Ill make my mind up one day :lmao:

The brakes were my biggest gripe with my calibra turbo (and all my cavs really). If they'd been better, I may still have it - who knows?
A fast car isn't all about straight line acceleration, brakes help make a proper quick car.

i think most people with cars (i know i do) go through phases,

one minute/day i like my car and want to keep it etc.
next minute/day im getting rid asap for something else.

same as i could sit here and say if i owned your car i wouldnt want rid and would want to keep it for ages but tbh, if i owned it, im sure within a couple of months i would want something diff,

may just be me always wanting something better and being pickey,

Its all down to what you want though isn't it... i never thought daz nextdoor would sell the calibre and i NEVER thought he would brake the green 'un but he did and got the astra vxr

And i just want to add there is a cosworth around cleethorpes and it drives past my work every saturday... the more it drives past the more i like it - my dad really takes the mick out me because i always joke about fords but then the other day i was saying how great it sounded :lmao:

Dest, you will find the car you want be it a ford or otherwise. I think i have finally found my car after many years searching and so will you (allthough i suspect it may be ford after seeing your original pics of your old cossie)

Agree with Dest... this is a thread about any marque, any bitching.... lockage!

It will happen with any car, any marque, any engine, one day u'll be really annoyed, bored, fed up etc, and another, u'll love it again.

U may find u have a play in someone's Cossie and wonder why u sold yours, in times to come, when u have ur E30 Sport or Audi S4 Estate and have a play in another Cav Turbo you'll wonder why you sold that... NO car is perfect, I'd just go with what u feel is right at the time and is financially/loistically right for your situation!

There is no such thing as the perfect car!

personally dest, give me the cav, ill grudgingly give you the the vectra and.........................................Balls to that, im keeping the vectra lol!
As si says really, i think its a case of you have got used to the cavalier and require something else a bit more drastic but you will regret it as i bet you did when you got rid of the ford.

TBH, I didnt regret selling the cossie. I thought I would, but not atall really.
The only thing I regretting loosing was the performance, but that was solved (and bettered!) by the cav

To reiterate what Rob has said, to be fair, and I've only been on the "scene" for a year, he changes cars the most, no1 else I know, has been through so many, in search for the right car.

Milly: Apparently his perfect car!

The white Omega ex-police MV-6 thing (M-reg iirc), my mate quoted him to say "3rd time I've had her, she's my baby, maybe I'll keep her a while"

4 cars later... Vectra SRi 150 (Sorry to point u out Rob, but... makes a point)

Not everyone is as extreme as Rob (ie, being able to buy and sell as frequently), but, we're all very similar!

Edit: erm... yeah... wine... might've pressed something.............
