Reverse parked the Cav at the house and got a screech for my trouble, seemed to come from the from drivers side, put my hand on the alloy wheel and damn near burnt myself, the brake was roasting too, so I'm guessing its part seized, Just to show my ignorance, what else could cause this?

Reason I'm asking is that I have a job Interview tomorrow morning at 11:30 so I don't want to get too involved ........

Just sounds like a siezed caliper.
my thoughts too, after having fun and games getting stuck in mud/snow/ice/crap a week or so back I'm guessing alot of the crap ended up in the caliper, wouldn't it be nice if a pressure hose cleared it........:lmao:

Well we can dream :lmao:

Thanks for the reply's guys

take the wheel off & pads out - give it a whack with a LARGE hammer (LUMP hammer)

One it moves just strip it down giving the runners a clean up with wirewool and put back together!

That should sort ya out m8
