Hi Guys
I have a 97 corsa b 1.2 which wont start, it had been a bit dodgy starting for a couple of weeks, but now it wont go at all.
Had a quick scoot on the net and seemed to point towards coil. I checked and there was no spark. I tried a new coil, plugs and leads but still no luck so refitted the old coil but left the new plugs and leads on. The old plugs were pretty manky but didnt seem wet so dont think there is any fuel there either.
Had another search around and read fault codes with paperclip in diagnostic socket and it reads 12, and 85. I believe 12 is the start ofthe test and 85 is immobiliser wrong signal.
Has anyone had this before? If the chip in the key has packed up would it just turn over with no spark or fuel? I am about to order a new key from my local dealer.
Cheers, John.
