I have a Kenwood KRC 877R Mask H/U and its a few years old, and the Mask is sometimes abit jerky when doing its thang...i'd say the mech need's abit of lube.

Kenwood dont list any grease as such, i dont want to use 3in1 and nor do i want to use the huge vat of white grease i have in the garage...plus my local ICE shack has shut down...so im abit stumped.

Has anyone any recommendations as what to use?

But they don't have a substantial amount of greae when they are built, enough you'd feel it on your fingers after touching the mech but not really enough so you'd see it.
A common cause of the jerkyness is if when they get fitted & need a good push to lock in people tend to push on the outside edges which is actually the part the guides move up & down in, if these squash together you often get a tight spot. Also general use over time will slacken off the mech through wear of the plastic gearing.
