Hi all, right done HG on mums Zafira and when i was doing it all it was spitting a bit and water got into the head where the cams are. Couldn't dry it all out and there was still some in there. Now the car is giving the mayo on oil cap. Just wondering how would i get rid of this? I'm thinking it wouldn't just be a oil drain and new jobby?

Hey I just saw the same post on another forum and I reckon like the other fellow said - if it was just a bit of water from spitting rain just take it for a long drive and it should evaporate.

Its always worth doing a oil and filter change after a HG repacement, maybe put some flush through it aswell

Well that certainly true that the cooling system would lkely need cleaning out after HFG, in fact from the recent work on our Rover I would say to get rid of sludge in the system might have to do a lot more than just use some flush product too. Guess I wasn't thinking, just responding to the question of a few rain drops up top...
