ANy good local mechanic, worth their salt should be able to do the job. If your handy with the spanners, and have a good toolkit, you could attack the job yourself. I wrote a how to which appears in the How to section, complete with photos.
Anyway, best bet is to buy the bits you will need, then drop the car to the garage, get the bits from Autovaux, and buy the Dex 3 auto trans fluid, around 6 litres, from a good local motor factor.
Here are the parts your likely to need.
- Small Gasket (sump)
- Big gasket (sump)
- sump plug washer
Thanks for that but I've got it booked in to a Gearbox specialist to do a Diagnostic check first. He wasn't convinced it needed an Oil change (see an earlier thread by myself re: Gearbox acting a little strange!!).
As suggested by MARKJAY - I will update the thread on the outcome of the diagnostic so as to possibly help others in the Future.
