Hi everybody, just a quick one.

Im going to be lowering the GSI 60mm, on a full G-Max kit, off a gsi my mate (james) is breaking.

The main question is, on the front Mc Pherson suspension strut/damper at the bottom is attached to the wheel hub, which the drive shaft sits in...Do i have to change that hub too, or does the strut post come out of the hub??

I got my one off my ford that way :lmao: , but unsure if the cav ones are the same??
The thing is the front springs are on the suspension post off the other car, and would be easyer just to fit them rather than getting the spring compressers out!

Cheers, and any veiws welcome (on this subject)

no it is attatched to the hub. you would have to change your brakes and stuff too! there is no bolts through the middle of the strut from which to detach it from the hub. is that what you are asking?

Check out my suspension swap thread. you can remove the inserts on the front, and put your G-Max ones inside your existing front legs.
