help both front footwells are soaked but passanger side is worse why is this happening i thought it was the heater matrix leaking as changed old one as was knackered but still water is coming in it has rained a lot down here lately so dont know if its something else

Sunroof drain could be blocked or the drain in the scuttle panel on the passenger side could be filled with leaves.

how do you clear the sunroof drain? i had trouble tracking the tubes on mine!

Use an airline and some high pressure should blast the crud out.

They normally end near the front door hinge. A coat hanger in the end should clear it out, then flush with hot water-carefully.

And I'd bet money he's bang on it too.

The so called 'Elephants trunk' is always getting blocked by mushed up leaves, and can also get caught behind the steering rack.

as said, the two i would check are sun roof drains and the elephants truck. to get to the sunroof drains, open the roof and your notice two holes in the corners at the front either use a air hose or a long piece of wire. the elephants truck is located in the centre of the scuttle panel just infront of the heater blower. your see the crud in the bottom of the trunk.
