as above, this third hand info, a neighbour back home has a flat battery and the car is deadlocked - how can he get in without breakingb the windows.

key in drivers side door and twist right thats how i get in and out with a ded bat on my veccy

Alternatively you can hook a set of jump leads up to the engine block (ground/neutral) and the big fat red cable on either the starter motor or alternator.

Is there no way in through the boot ?

You should be able to use the key to get into the boot.

or see if you can pop the bonnet from underneath

What's with all the 'making life difficult for yourself'?

Key in the lock and turn.

No need to faff about with jump leads, trying to open the bonnet, scratching your left nipple while tickling your right armpit, etc.

ok guys i think its sorted, like i said i was doing this from info from my father in law whos neighbour was having a spot of trouble. thats over 200 miles away
