how easy is the cleaning of the egr valve..?and what should be used .ie wd40 etc? thanxz

Yes its very easy.

I think the best thing to use is Carb Cleaner, Just squirt loads down the hole and leave to soak.
Give it a bit of a clean and push the valve/piston in a few times to make sure it is free to move

DO NOT use WD40 , it will ****** your 02 sensor !
Wynn's fuel intake cleaner ... 5/6 notes at halfords & remember use a new gasket ( all of 90p) .

Im getting it blanked and removed via tech2,fed up cleaning the damn thing now,used to last 6months+ after a good clean.
Cleaned it 3times so far this month,its gone from sticking shut causing mega slow acceleration to wide open,great acceleration but really bad mpg.
