has anyone cleaned there egr valve on a petrol Astra h? The code came up on my mates diagnostic. I have had a look online and they look easy to clean but I haven't seen any videos or pictures about the Astra h petrol one. And also where is the location of it? On my old Astra mk4 it used to be behind the engine. I fancy having a go cleaning it myself rather than buying a new one

You don't need your radio code if you remove the battery. You will lose the trip counter etc. and may need to relearn the electric windows.
Those sprays will help clean the pipe work etc. but you will still need to remove the worst of the carbon deposits manually. It will probably explain that on the tin. It's also recommended to change the oil and filter after using them
