Im new to the forum hope this is the right place:think

Doing my head gasket today and my torx bit snapped on the second to last bolt of the tightening sequence and a piece of it fell down the back of the head bolt at the timing belt end,:shakeCould not see it so i removed the cylinder head again and its down one of the oil ways in the block, tried to remove it with one of them magnetic pens but it dissapered, I then dropped the sump to see if its there but no:shame:


I think its the oil feed to top of engine from the oil pump not sure though:think

Its at the front of the engine on timing belt end
could anyone tell me where that oilway goes?

oh dear.

the oil supply on red tops is at the top middle. your eco looks similar

Hi, you can buy a longer wand with a magnetic end. If this is a drain hole, it should go straight to the sump, or the piece is sitting on a ledge over the pump.Chrisshu
