My personal preferences are Febi Bilstein, Blue Print or Brembo. That being said, I've previously used Comline brake pads on a previous car of my Wife and they were absolutely fine. I once got a set of Borg and Beck rear pads as an 'Add on' for just ÂŁ3 from Amazon for my Wife's Vitara. They lasted two years and were literally down to the metal plates when I swapped them out. Replaced with Brembo pads bought from Euro's.

I'm currently using Blue Print pads on the front of my 2015 Viva. They cost me 23 quid for the set. They've been on 3 years and covered just 12,500 miles and they haven't given me a single issue.

In all this, we forgot to mention Ferodo who have been in the braking game for eons. I've fitted Ferodo discs and pads several times with no problems.

I often search eBay for genuine manufacturer old stock being flogged off by, in our case, VX dealerships. When I had my Saab 9-3, I picked up 3 or 4 sets of either front or rear pads, genuine GM, for as little as ÂŁ15 delivered from dealerships. Same with discs, picked up 2 pairs of brand new genuine GM boxed discs for ÂŁ30 each. I've currently got a set of Bendix premium front discs on my little Viva that cost ÂŁ31 for the pair from GSF car parts. They are excellent. Shop around.
