... can pick up a suspensionless Cav shell? Is that something the local scrappies would be likely to be able to do or am I looking at contacting various recovery-type companies?

Anybody had any experience shifting a wheel-less car?

The GSi I scrapped last year had feck all left on it, although maybe a little more than ur's has...

Phoned up a recycling company (read - one man band scrap metal company) out the pages and they came round and collected.

cost me a score as it was engine less etc, but was worth it to get rid of it the same day.

Scrappy charged me £20 to remove a shell,had it of had wheels on it he would of removed it for free.

was thinking that when i saw the thread, i thought i bet its my old v6 :shame:

Oh well never mind, shame as i thought it was a good cav and served well.
Just make sure it goes in the RIP thread.

Know quite a few thro work (industrial sparky), they get rid of alot of scrap from us when we refurb places, saves paying for skips etc :D :bananasmi
