I have a Vectra B and I took out the radio (Blaupunkt car 300) to have a look at it (to see if I could fit an input for an ipod - No) and once I put it back in the dash display does not work.
The wiring connector and aerial seemed to click into place ok.
Does somebody have a suggestion for what the problem is and how to fix it?

Also, when it was working the display was losing pixels. Is there a way to get them all working again?

The problem has fixed itself. So thank you to anyone who was contemplating helping me.
I had the unit plugged in but not slotted home. Once it was properly in place the display worked again. Except for the dead pixels.

Don't think you can do anything about dead pixels apart from MAYBE fit a new display unit but, in most cases, probably not worth time and trouble.
