I changed my XE sump to a tin one from an 8v to try and stop the oil leaking.
However, the dipstick will now catch on something unless I move it a certain way around. It sounds like it's hitting the crank!
Also, if I turn the dipstick one way, the oil appears to be well above max, and the other way it won't even pick any up!
Are the dipsticks different on the 8v's? Are they shallower/deeper or something?
