Hello There,
I'm hoping to repair the burnt wiring in the loom in my Cav GSi (see "Cav wiring burnt" thread from Dec2005) after it suffered a relapse in February (it's been off the road since).
Yesterday I got most parts off the dash, but to really examine the loom thoroughly I need to remove the dashboard itself. Haynes makes no mention of this task (it did for my Nova), and a look around with a torch hasn't helped me much either.
Has anyone done this on their Cav, and can you recall how you did it (please)?
I still have the ventilation ducts in there, and the clocks are loose, but I can't release the speedo cable to get them out.
Any assistance gratefully received as always.
Cheers, Rich K.
