when im doing motorway speeds my dash board vibrated and rattles very bad, bad enough to spew my paper work from the compartment above the glove box all over the floor how can i stop it as its driving me mad, is it some thing to do with wheel balancing or some thing else, my steering wheel is straight and does not pull to one side if i let the wheel go, PLEASE help

Does the car shake or steering wheel wobble at all?
Also did you sell the rear seat and quarter panels?

it sounds like a wheel balance problem to me , i had an f reg mk3 cav that needed wheel balancing & the dash used to rattle well on that , got the wheels balanced & it was sorted.

there is no wooble or shaking, the steering some times goes very light, and yes i sold the rear seat and panels on ebay:Cool2:

Definitely balancing mine did this when i first got it
i had a calibra and didnt like it
had my wheels balanced today and the bloke said they were well out i asked if it was out enough to rattle the dash and he said most deffo, so that looks like that 1 is sorted now, thanks for the aswers guys:Cool2:
