Hi all,
I've recently got my astra 2011 reg and it came with a CD500 radio/sat nav system with the shark fin aerial. The garage where I bought it from stated it had DAB, which I found out on picking up the car, it didn't. So I bought a Vauxhall DAB module, finding the connectors by the accelerator pedal and connected it up. However, the radio doesn't see it. It just gives me FM and AM. What could be the issue?
I have noticed on the back window, the DAB aerial has been cut and the FM aerial is the only one connected. Does that mean the green dab connector isn't connected to anything? If not, would not having a working aerial cause the module not to be seen on the radio? I'm new to this so any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Yes it does need programming in,Vx dealer/independent Vx specialist/some garages can do it
