hi ive got a leak i think its coming from the crankshaft oil seal? but maybe not? if the car is on level ground will it continue to leak from the oil seal if its not running ie parked in my garage over night as i find a puddle of it on the floor, which makes me think its the sump, is there a leak seler you can add to the oil to make it leak tight. thanks rob.

exactly, hence the coolant question because the coolant system is under pressure and will therefore continue to leak until the pressure drops to atmospheric.

Oil can obviously drip off the block over time.
