Hi,

Need to drain and replace my Coolant.

Can anyone recommend best stuff to replace it with which won't cost me to remortgage my house? (Cheap as poss)

Also was going to flush the system, can you tell me where to start and where to drain the system from?
(Never done this as you can tell)

Thanks

You can spend 5-10 pounds more now on good stuff now or several hundred pounds on repairs later - your choice.
You put £50+ pounds of fuel in the tank every what? week?.... How does a couple of tenners on anti-freeze/anti-corrosion once a year stack up against that?

Use a quality OAT product.

Would have thought normal anti freeze would do, as long as it contains inhibitor for aluminum protection which i think they all do now, but worth checking, apparently rain water is better than tap water....dont ask...Fred.

Just use the genuine stuff as its the correct anti freeze for the car,has to be OAT type for your coolant system, put it in and more or less forget about it----Dave
