Can anyone offer a suggetion on how to best fix the problem code P1555.

check basic stuff first. Check all the breather hoses for splits or cracks. Check every vacum line from the throttle body, check carbon canister lines. Check all the vacum ports on the throttle body, make sure you can feel the vacum at the end of all the pipes. check for any vacum leaks from inlet manifold, throttle body gasket or the breather hose elbow on the intake ducting. It's not nessesarily an electronic problem.
