Hi all, I called the parts department in my local Vx place yesterday and they told me that the clutch cables for cav turbo and v6 are different. I'd always assumed they were the same. Does anyone know how they are different? Is it the pedal end or the gearbox end or the length or something?
I've been trying to fix the problem with the clutch and want to replace the cable, but with the F28 box on the V6 which one should I go for?

it's probably the length thats different.
like 2.0 8v and 16v cables are basically the same, but different in length.

don't quote me on it, but thats my belief mate

I was thinking the same - the turbo cable won't reach around the v6 engine. I'm going for a v6 one

Got the clutch problem sorted. It was either the pedal or the cable. Nice and light now too. Now all I have to do is fix the rear front subframe bolts and i'm well away.
