Hi hope you can help. I recently had a service done and had all of my brake discs and pads replaced as well as having a new exhaust fitted. On the way home yesterday I noticed that when I braked there was a click noise coming from the back of the car, it happens every time I brake. Not very happy with this as I had my 6 year old son and my 11 week old baby. Can anyone make any suggestions. My mechanic is getting sick of the sight of me! lol

The rear pads can cause clicking, need to have a backing noise supression type pad on the back of them. Also have a clip between the pins to quieten things down.
If you're not happy, need to take it back to him.
Can't mess about with brakes, and it's down to him to make sure you're happy.
Won't take 5 minutes to check what I've suggested with a hoist and windy gun.

I've had it when you apply the brakes you get a click.
Another time would click after reversing and braking, then driving forwards then braking.
Also had loads of clicking, that was cable adjuster on beam banging away...
If yours is one click when applying brakes, should be pad related.
