Hi, New to all this and completely stuck on my problem hoping someone here can help me out.

I just bought a vectra envoy '96. Unlike my old vectra, When I turn the key to lock/open on the drivers side it only locks/unlocks the drivers door and drivers side passenger door, yet the other two doors on the other side of the car have to be manually pulled up or down. Now I was told when I bought the car it was something to do with "Chips" underneith the drivers stearing wheel. I am not sure if this is correct or not as I have found out he has lied about other things on the car. Any help would be great. Thank you :Cool2:

Nornally this would not be a problem but my partner is having trouble with manually opening the locks and juggling a baby seat in this bad weather at the moment.

it sounds like the door locking motors are at fault,it may also be worth checking the wiring plugs as sometimes water does get in there and cause corrosion
