Hi all,

Just purchased an 11 plate Insignia 2.0 CDTI SRI (160) that has the CD500 navi unit fitted, unfortunately it doesn't have the bluetooth module installed, is it possible to purchase the bluetooth module from the likes of ebay then plug and play or does the cd500 unit then have to be coded or some other facy crap need to be done to get it working?

What are my options here as I would like to get the OEM functionality through the CD500's screen & steering wheel controls?

I'm pretty sure you can buy the Bluetooth module with the additional wiring necessary to connect/splice into the original silver box (the actual radio unit). It would need programming however with a Vauxhall MDI with access to GM's SPS programming in order to get it up and running.

A dealer or someone with an MDI and access to the Vauxhall online programming system. Whereabouts are you.?
