Please Help -Anyone on line now that can help?
I have a cavalier td and the wiper will not park when i wash/wipe. Sometimes the arms stop in the middle of the windscreen and at various other areas whichever it decides - could this be a relay, if so where would it be? (mot retest on monday!!) cheers

thanx for that, changed stalk, changed relay - still the same. Just changed the wiper motor and its fine - total cost£10 scrap yard! There must be some sort of switch in the wiper motor which teels the wiper where to stop - but a bit confusing to me really!

Took the old motor apart and the motor shaft is connected to a metal ring which has three spring contacts on (similar to horn contacts). One of the three contacts was loose/ bent. I reckon this is the cause of many wiper faults - so replace the motor first! The motor is a bit too fiddly to repair though.
