Got ICV and loom still on the car. What do you mean by 'ICV/engine loom' Gary? It looks to me as if all the engine wiring is in one loom back to the ECU in the passenger footwell.

Hi John,

I've cut the Mk2 loom into the Mk3 loom to try and make things easier
I'm looking for a 18SE engine loom as I'd like to eliminate faulty wiring / rotting wiring after all it is getting on a bit, and its taped up all over the place (not my doing, it's how I got it)

As for the ICV, just looking for the Idle control valve to see if that smoothes things out any too.

Might have to drop down to Milton Keynes sometime if I can lend your expertise of Mk2 engines, it would be appreciated
