hi there ppl,

just check over my vectra 2.5 v6 and has come up with camshaft sensor fault. i have one ordered from lmf and was just wondering, do i need to reset the ecu or anything once i have the new sensor in place???
any help greatfully appreciated

No. If the fault has been rectified, the ecu light should extinguish. After 25 or 30 clean engine start ups (ie, 25 to 30 turns of the ignition key) the fault log in the ecu will be cleared as well.

hey ppl need help plz!!!!

new camshaft sensor arrived to day so went to install and the eml isnt going out
and engine still has eratic idling when ticking over and when trying to rev it up it there is hesitation .
anything you can suggest would be most appreciated.

did paperclip test again and still comes up with camshaft sensor fault.
