was just wondering if there is a way of telling whether or not the cambelt has been done? i have no documents to say it has and cant see a sticker anywhere unless it's under the cambelt cover?? the car has done 114,000 miles. also if i dont get it changed how much damage would be done to a 1.8 16v cdx engine?? as i have been told that with some cars it doesnt necessarily do much damage if it goes?
many thanks!

I'd change the cambelt kit to be on the safe side. If belt was to snap, could mean a new engine.
